These are contest chests that I made for MTV's Contest promoting the band Destiny's Child... They called it "Destiny's Isle". As you can see. we made a bunch - and then shipped them to contest winners all over the world. I still make these chests today, and even sell the locks and hardware! For a while I considered filling these with assorted hardware and shipping them as a product.  Still think it might have been interesting! ;)  

What's the one thing that ANYONE building a hardware project needs consistently? Hardware color! You don't often mix Brass hinges with a Nickel hasp right? So explain to me why Small Box Hardware is the ONLY company that has always classified its hardware by finish, and NONE of the 'major' companies do? I guess their focus is on something other than assisting their customers! ;)
